we have a misprinted 1935 dollar bill a relative found which we wanted to share. We would also be grateful for any opinions on value. We think this is called an 'offset' error but are not sure.
thanks for the replies. I forgot to mention that the misprint on the lower left corner appears to match the back of the bill exactly. We would be interested in learning how a misprint like this occurs.
A sheet that had still wet ink on the back was set on top of the sheet your bill came from, which led to ink transferring from the top sheet to the one below.
