I have 8 1983 P Lincoln pennies, and 4 out of the 8 have die cracks on the reverse, either on the corners of the Lincoln building or the top of it. Are die cracks this commonly found on this date/mint penny? Thanks in advance
(Sorry for the poor quality pics, no memory card yet)

You will see this on many years of the memorials but 83's seemed to be worse than most. If you find one with four or more cracks, that is more unusual.

If they're this common, then there is no premium for them, right? Should I toss them back in with the spenders?

Yes, send them back to the wild. If you kept every memorial with cracks, that would be an insane amount of Lincolns.

@makecents one of them has 3 die cracks, one crack on each bottom corner of the building and one big crack on the top

Here is one of the few I've kept, because it was all cracked up.

Me myself, would toss anything less than four. You will run across many more. Keep what you want though, sometimes they are nice to go back and refer to.

They are very common indeed, not worth saving.

2foxy,
Until you get a memory card only take pics with your phone, please. Here are a few links to help with that:http://goccf.com/t/422658

Every photo we post uses up server space on CCF, that's why Bobby says not to post a bunch of pics in a single post and to post only usable photos. 1 to 4 photos per post of useable pics...one full coin photo obverse, one full coin photo of the reverse and one or two close ups where and when needed to start with. If we need more photos to properly help a member, we will ask for them. Thank you all.

with John1, you might want to hold off posting until you get your memory card or use a different camera ( such as your phone's camera). Most people here use phone cameras anyway. Screenshots are too pixelated!

I agree with very common and zero numismatic premium. Spend them.
