Just a quick post to explain my username change. I've been using the handle "Kamnaskires" at several other forums, and simply wanted to be a little more consistent. So, I asked the admin here to facilitate the change of my CCF handle.
With regard to coin collecting, for years my primary focus has been coins from the ancient kingdom of Elymais. The first five rulers of the kingdom - not counting a couple short-termed usurpers - went by "Kamnaskires". The ruling clan during that period is known as the Kamnaskirid Dynasty. (The Arsacids of Parthia would later wrest control of Elymais.)
FYI, the anchor symbol in my avatar is prevalent on Elymaean coinage. (The arrowhead symbol next to it represents my other primary collecting focus: ancient Western Asian weaponry.)

Appreciate the comments, Ron and Gerry. Paul. Chris. Ron. Gerry. Usernames are just for the left column in these threads anyway. The content area to the right is for given names. I remain Bob in the text boxes.

Without Bob my collection would have no coins of Elymais, nor those of Parthia, and be rather worse off for such a loss.
It's not the screen name that matters, it's the person behind the name, and you won't find one more knowledgeable nor polite than he.

Wasn't it Billy Joel who once sang:

Have to agree with everyone here. Bob inspires!
