Thank you. I reviewed the meaning of "whizzed" and can only say that if it was "whizzed", it was "whizzed" over 30 years ago because it has been in a coin holder that long in my dresser drawer. Think I'll hold on to it. Thanks again.

especially noticeable on the obv. the direction and number of hairlines across all the surfaces was done mechanically

With an 5x to 8x loupe you should be able to easily see the mechanical abrasions that are also fairly obvious in your photo.

Does not matter how long its been in your dresser drawer - someone had it before you.

The terminology kind of caught me off guard. Sorry if it sounded harsh. I looked at the coin using a 20X loop and yes...it appears to have been has been cleaned. Again, I apologize.

Whizzing is not cleaning. It is the use of a high speed wire brush that removes part of the surface to simulate an original chartwheel luster. That process was big in the 1970's-80's but not so much now.

Pencil erasers were used for years to whizz coins as well basically.
