That's nice...but why does the lighting/reflection on the slab look very different than the coin? Maybe it's legit, but it looks to be two separate photos.

It's this simple: The coin is so outstanding, such a cameo-contrasting headlight, that it jumps off of any screen. That coin would look good in a cheap cellphone pic.

This one is as good as it gets. It was lit to bring out the best in the coin, and to heck with what the slab looks like.

The coin is beautiful, but why would someone list it on ebay and not with one of the major auction houses?

i know ebay will make a heck of a premium on this one if it sells. I did a fee calculation and it looks like ebay would get $5343.35 paypal fees would be 7685.30

Correct me if I'm wrong, I recall reading a post which indicated Heritage charges its buyers premium plus 10% or so of the winning bid.
