congrats on your latest acquisition...show us a pic of the front and back side by side so we can see the rotation(take a pic of the front;then flip it over in place without turning it and take a pic of the reverse). PS If you need coin therapy...talk to one of the moderators here at the FORUM They have alot of experience with this sort of condition!

Quote: Did I miss the coin therapy sign-up sheet? Don't believe atlashealth - we're not Moderators because we're therapists; we're Moderators because we're the most thoroughly addicted.

First off, great start to a life long addiction. Secondly, there is no cure, all years of therapy on this site will do is expose you to many other kinds of coins to feed your growing addiction. Give up all hope and embrace the life. You are not alone, we are here with you. All this talk about large cents in the last week is going to force me to find my old Dansco and look at mine, and that will only lead to trying to fill those last remaining holes in the book.

I really like those large cents (big pennies). Wish the Mint would start making them again. For some reason coins like the Large Cent, 2 Cent, 3 Cent pieces are fantastic coins. Sort of like potato chips. You can't just have one.

Here are the pics but should I take it out of the 2x2? I don;t have any yet to put it back in to. When I look at the coin under my loop. I can see the center mark in the reverse and they are square with the coin. When I Flip it over the Center marks (looks like a bulls Eye target through a scope) and score line are way off on the obverse. also she looks like she has a cut in her mouth from maybe a die crack? Is this stuff normal?

Yeah I've got the large cent bug. As for me I'm just sticking to cents from now on. I collected almost everything else and sold everything but the cent collection when I got my house. I kept thoes cents though and now the large cent is my coin passion. Whats next? Maybe be Half Cents? I dont know.

I find them all the time in the junk bins at coin shows, and find myself buying even rough looking ones.
