Is this what is called a die chip? break?
Still trying to learn all the different terms.
If not, what is the correct way to describe?

Not sure if it's something on the coin or a die chip, as you said, that has somehow rolled out of the copper core. Can you give us a clear pic of the obverse?

The first pics and these are the best
I can get. I have tried multiple angles
and different zoom levels up to x30.
Unfortunately, I'm limited to phone
camera and clip on magnifier.

Nice looking little anomaly.
Image #4 looks like it is "bubbling up" from below. Any chance you've soaked it in acetone yet to see if it will come off?

FWIW- that is the "Charter Oak" on the quarter so that would be a honker of a copper acorn.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
