@b0s, that is an interesting token. To better help you, I cave a couple requests though. First, can you please post the weight and diameter? Second, can you please confirm that this is a dog as opposed to a female lion or panther. From this picture, I can't tell if it is canine or feline. Thx.

@Spence, The weight is practically nothing, it is so very thin, I could easily bend it if I wanted to. I do not have a set of scales that will weigh it. If you know what an Australian 5 cent piece looks like, it is about the same size as that. I have attached a clearer image to help with the animal identification.

Ok that picture is significantly clearer. Thx. The reason for my asking about the diameter and weight is that those can be helpful search keywords. It sounds like this piece is 19 or 20 mm in diameter.

Ok looks to me like you have a super example of a German Spiel Marke, or play money. One one side is a lioness at waters edge and the other side features a fairy standing on a globe. Different designs were combined for different tokens, but here are a couple ebay auctions to compare against your piece:

@Spence

So just a German token, no real significance? Huh. Ok, thank you very much for your help, I do appreciate it =)
