Note the affected areas are showing an incuse mark on that area? That is Machine Doubling. It is were hub doubling then it would be raised, not incuse on the initials and ear lobe. These are not doubled dies. A doubled die coin comes from a doubled die. Machine Doubling is caused by the machine and not a die issue. Just a post strike alteration of the fresh devices. Thus they are always incuse, not raised on the coin.
