Incuse areas are damage or Machine Doubling. A true doubled die will have raised areas that are enlarged on the devices. Reduction and incuse areas are damage to the coin. Probably the only doubled ear on the Rosevelt post 1973-S dimes. Not many obverse doubled dies after that year. Reverses on the post 1999 reverses, but you have to look these up to see what the real DDR's look on the 1999 forward dimes. Other wise you are looking in the dark hoping you find something.
