just now going through some more rolls & I happen to pull this out just need opinion if it's a mint error or post error?

No way for that to happen when the coin was struck.

The patina on the edges looks to be very old and seem to match the color of the other surfaces of the coin.
I'll bet back in the 30's (during the great depression), somebody was 'harvesting copper' then spending the coin afterwards. Who knows, maybe a lot of Lincoln Cent coins copper was harvested as well.
