Dearborn Moderator United States 97510 Posts	Posted 02/22/2023 4:39 pm The patina on the edges looks to be very old and seem to match the color of the other surfaces of the coin. I'll bet back in the 30's (during the great depression), somebody was 'harvesting copper' then spending the coin afterwards. Who knows, maybe a lot of Lincoln Cent coins copper was harvested as well.
