Thanks everybody! To answer @john1 's question, yes there is a back story! When I first started collecting ancients in 2018 I bought a group lot of low grade LRB's and this exact coin was among them albiet barely identifiable. Long story short that's when my affinity for Constantius ii began. A few months later I came across the example above and purchased it right away, I was amazed at the intricate detail! 5 years later and this is still one of my favorite bronzes.

@ livingwater I have the Hoc Signo from siscia as well! Not as nice as yours though




@erafjel now that's is a beauty I would love to own! I've been searching forever for a decent example and have not found one yet.. the galley type seems to be common for Constans but not so for Constantius ii.
