Checked a roll of 1978 Nickel Dollars today and found a few coins with a broken bottom water line or can we call it an extra water line. Makes for a nice variety for 1978. Posted a picture of the regular water line to compare.

Found only in the business strikes, there are two types to look for with the Broken Water Line:

Broken Water Line, Normal Island (Rev-004)
Broken Water Line, Small Island (Rev-005)

Of all the six business strike varieties, by far the hardest one to find is No Island, Full Water Lines (Rev-003). Most I do find are really "baggy" AU coins. My best one is MS-63. Over the past 15 years, I probably only have ever found 15 or so of that variety.

SPP - so my first picture is the full water line no island / Rev-003 , second picture would be the Normal Island Rev- 004. Nice varieties.
