Hi!

Need a help with identifying coin. Does it look like carolingian?

Weight is 1.33 gr.

Corrosion in the center of coin looks like it is plated coin. But it is really thin for plated coin, also weight is small.

Would appreciate for any help!

Thanks!

Not Carolingian in the sense of by the Carolingian kings, but possiby feudal from the same time or not long after. County of Auxerre seems to match pretty well: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces58871.html

It does look strange though, like a peeled off silver coating.
