Maybe I'm still a little sore about losing yet another auction for a dollar. But when I see a Draped Bust quarter like this priced at $295 Buy It Now

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...tegory=11963

I start to wonder....considering there are a jillion other similar quality Draped Bust quarters selling for the same money.

Maybe this AG treasure is worth the big bucks because the holes drilled on the obverse don't go all the way through.

Good things come to those who wait... If you don't like it I wouldn't settle for it. On the other hand if the holes don't bother you so much and you have the extra cash, go for it!

Yeah...those marks are a shame.
They sort of remind me of coin silver testing marks done outside the US...I wonder if this coin circulated elsewhere?

....except it's only worth about $150 in that shape, in a slab, and I'm being generous.
