This coin is very darkly toned and has a huge fingerprint on it.

Encased I hope. It's too pretty to get all scratched up! So what if it has a fingerprint...ugh! That area looks too big for a print.

Maybe in the images is looks pretty, but in hand it is just black tarnish (just like the tarnish on my Great, Great, Grandmothers Silver tea service.- when I let it tarnish out that is. I try to keep the service set nice and polished. I want nice clean ASE's in my Dansco albums so It had to come out. I used to have a 1900 Morgan as a pocket piece, but I retired it a few years back.

I'll start with once a week for a while, then maybe once a month after that.

So one week later: I kept the coin in my back pocket all week with the obverse facing forward (against my buttocks). I notice that the reverse got much more polishing than the obverse did. For the next week I'll keep it in the same orientation. (Obverse forward).

It sure didn't take long to wear off most of the toning and what looks to me like a palm print.
