I found this 1988 Lincoln Penny that looks like it might have a transitional error RDV-006 reverse of a 1989 penny. Would this be the case? Thank you so much for your help :)

To me it looks like the regular 1988 FG with a die chip..judging by the space between the opening of the "G", also distance of "FG" from the Memorial looks like a 1988.

I see the 1988 design. A tip to see also it is the parallel line of the highest in G by the rapport with the down WE line is F

I agree it definitely looks like the space between the FG and the memorial is consistent with the 1988. It must be a die chip on the "g" giving the appearance of a serif. I sincerely appreciate your help :)
