They sent me one of those a few years back. It is real. After I completed the first one, they sent another later on for 10 bucks. Easy way to make a little cash.

Yes its real... the envelope likely contains two crisp dollar bills, with the promise of $5 more if you fill out a survey about your TV and radio habits. https://lifehacker.com/dont-toss-ou...l-18473972945...5 dollar.... 5 dollar footlong from subway (oh wait that promo is no longer available, thanks, inflation) 5...5 dollar... 5 dollar cookie (single) from Crumbl...welcome to 2023!

I used to get those in the 90s. It was real money. I have not gotten a cash one in a long time though. Now I get emails that promise gift cards and the like. Those that escape the spam filter get deleted. A much bigger opportunity to get scammed.

The last time I got something like that it had change in it. It seems inflation has hit the marketing business too.

Quote: The last time I got something like that it had change in it. Quote: It seems inflation has hit the marketing business too. With inflation, I would be asking for fins and sawbucks instead of singles. My time is money. I think what really happened is the value of our opinions went down. Way down. It is much cheaper to scrape data from social media than it is to pay us for surveys from their shrinking budget.
