This things got more speckles on it than a grakel bird, pics in natural light no editing. Soaked in acetone and rinsed in distilled water, specks do not appear as corrosion and will come off but these suffer no fools with a Q-tip so leaving as is. I saw this today for 55 bucks at my LCS and immediately bought it.
Opionions solicited thank you in advance.

Can't imagine this straight-grading, unfortunately.

although the LIBERTY would point to F15 coin, the sharpness of all the devices on both sides are saying VF

VF probably (ED) possibly from the way it was stored over the decades

F15 details. I can't get to 20 with that reverse.
Would have been a pass for me at $55

Its going in with a batch of 20 Barbers to ANACS soon, have never requested their conservation service so am going to request it and see what happens. Several of the coins that came out of that folder had that black crud on them that came off with acetone soak , this 1892 S AG example was in that folder and looked pretty rough but now looks like it might grade straight. I've ruined a few Barbers in my days using coin-care and a Q-tip so thats off the table indefinitely. Will post the coin when it comes back and see if ANACS got the specks off. Thanks for comment's.

The 92-S should straight grade at AG-3.

I like the 92S quite a bit better, I wouldn't touch it. It looks original.
