Here is one shilling 1942, looks like it's the key date and I grade it about XF... I get this just year ago for 25$ and in Krause the price really different.

G'day, nice coin. These used to occasionally come through the till in my Dad's pub when I was a boy.

Wikipedia describes the image: "A figure of a Maori warrior in warlike attitude carrying a taiaha."

The pricing in Krause for world coins can be way, way different to what they would cost in the issuing country. I am not sure where they get their prices from, but they are rarely right.

Very nice coin, and excellent pictures!

latman100 is right, Krause is all over the place when it comes to pricing. The best way to see what the current rate is would be to look at some completed ebay or heritage auctions online.
