Depends on a lot of different criteria. Minting errors and varieties are helpful, also who desires them helps, but as for a non-mint error little more than face value. There are a gazillion of them, for example 2020 had a mintage of 14.77 billion. Sentimental value depending on who wants one is also helpful.

Agree, no added value. If any of the die chips were over-the-top massive, there might be an crazed die chip collector out there willing to pay a buck or for one--must be extensive/huge/highly unusual.

These are worth .25 cents. but hype and tricky marketing increase the price people are willing to pay to get a nice specimen.

This is when you have people who either don't know what they are doing or know what they are doing, selling to people that don't have any idea what they are doing. Anything for a buck.

I agree - trivial die chips, coins are worth face value unless you are trying to become an ebay scammer. Buyer beware there!

But I learned a lesson. When you go to prices coins or collectable, is not the street market, ebay and etc. Those you find in some High Auctions and also in specific collectors clubs. Sorry for your lost.
