VF20 details, obverse makes me think it won't straight grade.

Thanks. Looks like you are about to hit 10k posts paralyse. Wondering what aspect of the obverse you think might keep this from straight grading. I thought the obverse wear was a little strange. The cap and LIBERTY in the band looked strong compared to the clasp and the draped outfit at the bottom of the bust, but overall I like the color and the circulation pattern. I also think I see some clashing in the right obverse field behind the locks of hair.

In the reverse, the detail of the arrowheads speak to a higher graded coin as well as the leaves that show spines in some of them. I think I also see clashing to the left of the leaves and below the right wing. Maybe I'm just imagining all of this.

Yup coming up on the big 10k.

It's more of a "feeling". I am concerned that the coin has damage to the left of the bust and in the right field behind the hair. The "pockmarked" surface appearance is also odd.

Could just be the photos.

The Obverse does look kind of pitted. I'd also be at VF-20, if it graded straight.

Not only do you have to grade the coin, but also the photos.
This one looks original to me.
