Hi there,

I recently acquired a non-circulating 1977 Senate Throne Dollar in a white capsule, which I am finding impossible to open. Any tips on how to open it? My guess is to use something like a Swiss Army knife, but I'm not sure.

I did it once for 1977. Used a pointed metal item (I think it was a leather punch) with a fine tip and hammer.

Case destroyed, coin fine. Was not easy, there must be a better way than what I did.
