I've started cataloging my collection and came across this error which I never noticed before.

There is a Cud over the left hand flag on the obverse:

Hi,
I think what you have there on the flag is a smallish die chip.
If I'm not mistaken, " Cuds" are usually on the rim of the coin.

OK, die chip it is! I have a 1/2 Afghani being shipped with a large Cud. I'll post it when it arrives.

That;s a die chip if it was a little larger it could have been an interior die break in order for it to be a Cud it would have to hug the rim of the coin.
