These will remain longer being inside of the columns on the design. Note on the DDR's the design copies the hub design: Note the design shows as a single line wider than a die scratch would look like. Also on the 1999 cents the DDR's are on the center bay on each side of the statue. uploaded/coop/1999-D_WDDR-0002.jpg]/img] So we are seeing die scratches from a hard polishing event, probably trying to remove a die clash, in order to rescue that die to be continued to be used.
