1943 Steel Penny For Grading And Can I Dip It In Acetone?

Jess1234 Valued Member Canada 333 Posts	Posted 03/18/2023 4:00 pm Hi everyone, Wondering if anyone can help with grading of this penny? Also, should I dip it in acetone to bring back the lustre? Or any ideas on how to clean it? The weight of this 43 penny is 2.6 g. However, I read that these should weigh 2.8 g. Any feedback on this would also be appreciated. Thanks! You said a word that most, not all coin collectors rarely say - "clean". Personally, I don't believe in cleaning ANY coins.
