Looks silver. Non magnetic. To big for silver. Weighs 3.61

Any ideas on what this things actually plated with? Read about mercury plating and am wondering

Hard to say for sure, it could also be plated with nickel.
It also has a bezel around it which would add extra weight.

John beat me by a minute.
Going to have to type faster.

Yes, I'm thinking that bezel has added to the weight. One time jewelry piece.

Doesn't show well. But the whole thing is shiny silver.

Was going to say that mercury rubbed doesn't add any weight. Then I see the picture, and yes in a bezel.
