If only I'd learn to read down a couple threads before I make a post. I hope to get active on your site this Sept or October when I get back into auctions; I'm already signed up as, of course Morgan Fred. I've closed down my auctioning activities for the season in preparation to my move to my summer feeding grounds in northern Arizona when it gets too hot down here in the desert later this month (not to mention the rattlesnakes emerging when it gets hot). I have someone designing a custom skin for it right now and as soon as it is put in I will be placing an ad in at least one coin magazine (Numismatist) and looking at a couple more places to do some more ads. With Susan, Forum Mommy, helping with the great listings she has in there and I can hopefully have a few more people do the same, when the ad goes out and curious people stop by to look they will see lots and lots of auctions and hopefully sign up. I have a modest current goal of stealing 1% of ebay's coin catagory business. That would be about 50,000 - 90,000 listings a week. Report this Post to the Staff

Steve, after a major data loss at the end of April (lost three months of data), I've taken to backing up critical data daily. Takes about ten minutes each session, even with an automated backup application (Bounce Back Express) since it won't automatically save to my Firewire external hard drive. I also learned my lesson. The worst part is that I had the option of doing an automated backup everyday when I started the site and didnt think it was needed at the time.
