Here are pictures of a 1969 Nickel Dollar with a new Die and what it looks like at the end of its die life. I just love the Beads surrounded by the mushy of the die wear. As you view the pictures acknowledge the beads in the back ground. Enjoy the pics.
Last of the pictures. Its not to hard to find this in the Nickel Dollars. I think the Mint ran these dies hard to the end. This 1969 is a very nice example. Enjoy.

The most deteriorated (reverse) die for 1969 is the one they overpolished and shortened the waterlines and wore off part of the designer's initials at the stern of the canoe.
