Hello everyone, Very very new to collecting. I would call it more hoarding at this stage lol. I have a bank near me that regularly takes in boxes of $500 of Half dollars. They call me when they get them in and I buy them almost daily if not every other day. Only problem is they get them from a local gentleman that sorts through them and takes only the silver ones. He does not look for error coins just the silver. I have many many days worth of looking for error coins. I also have many of the Big dollar coins. nothing real old but I like them anyway. and 2 dollar bills I just can't seem to part with...lol
Anyway any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome RRB, You came to the right place for help and suggestions! Wonderful, helpful pros that are ready and willing to share their knowledge. My advice: I would go to another bank that the gentleman doesn't get to! Then you may get your hands on a few silver dollars! Easier to look for silver than errors. I love the half dollars too and the big dollars are gorgeous! Enjoy!
