There was no line at the bank today when I stopped in to pick up some ones to search, and I got talking with the tellers about collecting. They told me I should have been there yesterday, because this bill came and went through one of their windows!

Rare to see errors like this on this generation of notes. Quality control has got so much better the last 10 years or so.

Yeah.... what nickelsearcher asked, I too am curious.

If I were the bank teller & was cognizant of the misalignment error, I'd have bought it myself.... unless there are specific rules prohibiting employees from engaging in such activities. Regardless.... I'd still have come up w/ a legal scheme for it to ultimately end up in my possession.

I apologize for the lag... The teller thoúght it was "cool", so she just took a pic & put in her drawer. I did get a different $100 from her that I'll post later.It looks really weird, but is prob. just damaged.
