Trinket is a good word to describe it.
No numismatic value.

Almost forgot

Would love just to have just a trinket version of these.
Not much money needed to acquire.

What was the trade for that you came out on top, a piece of lint in your pocket?

These were sold at Civil War sites / museums for years. I picked up one of these along with the repro Confederate cent in the 1990's. They did a pretty good job with these copies. My cent has the word "copy" on the reverse, but my half dollar has nothing to indicate reproduction. BTW - they sold for about $4 back in the day and came with a small information card about the history of the coins. Not sure what they go for now. Enjoy!
