Hi. Excuse my ignorance, but when Hafner and Roeck talk about "pearls in crown", do they mean the one above the eagle on the reverse of the coin, and which bits of the crown are they referring to? If somebody could post a suitably marked-up pic I'd be ever so pleased. I've been wondering about this for ages and only now feel brave enough to ask what I feel might be a silly question, but it's been bugging me for a long time and I feel this is the right place to get a proper answer. Many thanks.
