I have it at VG or F, Brown. This coin has a few dings on it most noteworthy under the date. Full Wheat lines on reverse.

Nice looking original surfaces example. I'm at F15 although that gash would likely Details the coin for damage.

Most collectors would be pleased to own this one.

It looks like a gash due to the shadow, but it is a small dent curved like the edge of another cent tagged it. If you want I can put it under the scope for you

Possibly low end VF

Not long ago I had 9 of those little buggers. I gave a few of them away to fill wholes in a friends Whitman. I think I still have 4 or so. They came from my Mom's collection.

Yours is purdy! Very strong VDB!

Thanks Debbie! But this one I'm giving away in a contest I just started. I upgraded to a nice BU one for my collection. It is posted here: Continuing List To Show Everyones Latest Acquisitions
and the contest is here: My Contest

I'll say VF-30, agree the gash might detail it.

i agree with coinfrog. VF30. probably details but not 100% certain as if it was PMD it would expect whatever did that would have hit the rim as well/ so its possible it was already an issue on the planchet

FYI - only MS coins are assigned colors

VF-25, which seems about the average of the grades so far

looking at your closeup photo I think what might be a hit by the date looks more like a planchet problem. probably grades straight

too much detail especially reverse to call this one VF20 however its your coin and I can see you lean more to conservative grading. the difference in value is only a couple $$ from 20-30 so it doesn't really matter much
