I'll say EF-40. probably cleaned.

Nice example, I'm at definitely a high VF 30 or VF 35 and the coin seems to have original surfaces. Bet it straight grades...however I've averaged about 3 for ten come back "details cleaned" that I hand picked from dealers with strict attention paid to surfaces and patina only to open the TPG box and say " ah crud". Any Barber Half in VF original is a treat to behold and about all issues are Rarity Level 3 in mid grade. I've noticed on Barber Halfs to get over the EF bar they really have to Pop on obverse and reverse. Your example looks to just miss EF territory. Still it's a peach of a coin.

I'm at VF30 obv VF35 rev. net it any way you want. looks like an old cleaning and starting to retone. not 100% certain it would grade straight but probably would
