i have been aggressively searching and so far have not found the elusive first doubled die. this time I may have one. the coin was received as change, and I first notices the deep and wider than usual rim. under magnification the 1 - in the date clearly (to me) appears doubled. I have tried to find the exact markers at copper coins advanced search, and I hope I have found and identified one. hoping for confirmation from the experts. thanks

Not an expert by any means. On the 009 there is a distinct extra slice of metal obove the bottom crossbar of the two. I don't see it in your pictures. When I blow up the picture it appears to be Machine Doubling.

I agree, there does not appear to be the fairly obvious second tail on the "2".
