Hi, I inherited a fairly large collection of US, Canadian, and World coins which I am going to slowly sell (most of), beginning with the world coins. Since I am located in Andorra, I am going to work on the Spanish and French coins first.

This coin seems to be somewhere between VG - F - XF, and I would appreciate any advice.

The Numista page shows this as only 3% of the 1716-1740 2-Reales (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6841.html), which appears to be one of the rarer dates.

Many thanks.

FYI this fetched $125 on EB. It went quickly, but there were actually very few page views, so I suspect I may have been lucky.

Well photographed.

From what I can best determine, 2 reales of this period is of fairly low design height above the fields, with lots of of high points of equal height above the fields. They act together to protect the coin from wear, with the effects of wear being equally spread.

I don't use Sheldon for grading non US coins.
The grade for this coin is
Fine, weakly stuck in parts, mainly in the center of the coin.

I have similar coin in my collection, but example pictured is a more desirable piece.
