I inherited a fair sized collection of US, Canada, and world coins, and am looking to sell the world coins first, starting with Spain and France because I live in-between those countries.

There are 17 coins (see pics below), plus a handful of copper 5c coppers between 1854-1913. I included a close-up of the 1918 1F coin as an example.

The 1813 and 1834 5F coins are worn, but the lettering and details are still quite sharp.

Just wondering whether these coins have much interest value and monetary value? I don't really have much interest in coins outside of the US & Canada, so I will sell off all the world coins eventually. Would it make sense to try to sell these all together as a package?

I can't say what's best for a seller, but here is my view as a buyer:

I've been collecting for a long time. I have most of the common stuff, but I'm looking for specific new variations or specific coins to upgrade. I rarely look at the sales of groups of unidentified coins. When a group has items individually identified I will take a look, but if I'm interested I usually only want one or two of the batch and the price I'm willing to pay is only based on the coins I want.

That's the downside of listing the together. But I often win auctions of small groups of coins where I only want one because my value for one specific variation is often higher than the value of the group for someone who just wants a group of coins.

The 5 francs 1813 should sell for 50-80 €, the 1834 for 30-40 €. Those two could be worth selling individually. The rest of the coins shown go for 1-2 € each, the 1918 1 franc and 50 c maybe 3-4 € (they are of silver, the rest is copper nickel). Could be sellable as a lot or two maybe. The 5 c coppers are typically not worth anything significant unless uncirculated.

The Napoleon 5F looks like a 1813/2 K overdate, which would make it worth somewhat more, but not greatly more. Unfortunately you'd need a specialist collector to sell it to.

The coins look very nice unlikely to be counterfeits with the possible exception of the Napoleon 5 Franc.

Most collectors bid top dollar on individual sales for coins worth more than $20-30. Bulk sales are always more interesting to me when there is one denomination involved.

Mixed accumulations tend to be more of a gamble.

When (if) you post them please post a notice. I would be interested in the 2 - 5 Franc coins.

Even in this condition Napoleon 5 Francs 1813/2 Bordeaux costs much more then silver value. In CGB "the best collection" the best grade is VF35!
