captainmandrake1 Pillar of the Community United States 878 Posts	Posted 04/24/2023 4:19 pm Wow, I was just reading that radios were clamped to patients' beds and loved ones would purchase tokens in the waiting rooms for 10 cents apiece or three for a quarter. The token bought you one hour of radio enjoyment. Looks like these faded out by the mid-1950s when you had portable radios that could be brought for patients by their families/friends.
