Hi I have some one hundred dollar bills where the blue stripe is not centered on Each bill. Does anybody know the correct placement?.some are covering the U/I IN UNITED AND BENJAMINS HAIR....SOME COVER N/I IN UNITED and go past his hair or to the tip of it.are the ones covering his hair and the u/I worth anything, more than face value? Are these actual placement errors, they are all different years 2009a 2017a 2009 I have 15 bills I compared side by side, any info will be useful.thank you I'm having trouble posting the actual picture but if anyone's able to answer without seeing ithat would be great. I will keep trying to attempt to post it. So far not successful. Says that it's too big.

The current design 2013+ $100 note has a 3-D Security Ribbon, which is located to the right of the portrait of Benjamin Franklin. Tilt the note back and forth while focusing on the blue ribbon. You will see the bells change to 100s as they move side to side. If you tilt it side to side, they move up and down. The ribbon is woven into the paper, not printed on it. https://www.uscurrency.gov/sites/de...-en-2022.pdf There is a video on this page: https://www.uscurrency.gov/denominations/100

Here is 1996-2013 https://www.uscurrency.gov/sites/de...tures-en.pdf

1990-1996 https://www.uscurrency.gov/sites/de...tures-en.pdf

1914-1990 https://www.uscurrency.gov/sites/de...tures-en.pdf

Since its woven in and not printed the location may vary and therefore have no added value unless its very off where it should be I would think.
