1821 Durango Mint Mexico 8 Reales

Hello, this is a recent find. At first I noticed much that was odd about it and was wary of it. the edge is inconsistent, the design seems poorly fitted together, and the strike very weak on the crown on the obverse.

Then with research I learned that this Durango mint was out in the hinterlands, and one of the last Royalist mints in operation, and that their coins simply did not meet the standards previously in place for Royalist mints.

It weighs 26.35 grams, is silver, and does have a bit of eye appeal in hand.
