Recently found this 1946 penny and see some obvious doubling. From what I can tell, looks like MC on reverse but could the obverse possibly be DDO? Especially Liberty has be wondering but I know statistically its unlikely DDO but I can dream! Haha anyone more knowledgeable able to give me their thoughts? Thanks!

Please show us closeups of the areas you believe show doubling.

You say you se doubling in 'Liberty" but you don't show a complete image of liberty for us to see. So can you post up a close up of Liberty please?

The entire coin is showing signs of Die Deterioration Doubling. The E and R in LIBERTY are pretty dramatic for DDD, but it is still just the result of an overly worn out die. Also, look at the motto and you can see "extensions" at the top of all of the letters that project toward the rim. This is a sure sign of DDD.

I will soon when I have the coin infront of me. I clearly see DDD on the in god we trust. But even the letters visible in liberty appeared to have spreading/have characteristics I believed looked like possible DD but of course I know it most likely isn't! Haha Hoping I'm mistaken though and an expert here tells me it is! Let a man dream! Thanks guys

I see no doubled die,I see a worn die issue. Did you check all three reference sites?
