I have have been scrounging around for foreign silver coins. Here is one of them I picked up recently.
As I have no knowledge of the numismatic value of world coinage other than USA, I was wondering if this example holds any value over melt and where that market may exist. Not much intrest at any of the LCS's I frequent. In fact, this one was found at one of them in a lot purchase, with more to follow here for your consideration and opinions.
ebay is not an option for me. No computer, no printer, no mailing label machines, shipping supplies, etc...
The time and effort, as well as expenses involved is not worth a few extra bucks.
I know that somewhere, someone, is interested in these coins just as much as someone that collects Lincoln Cent BIE's, of which I have many.

I would happily trade something like this one for a U.S. pre 65 quarter for my stack if it carries the value. A Franklin would be even better.
In any case, I won't know until I get opinions of those more knowledable which is why I am here.

Maybe join a local club or frequent shows. I am in the barter mode and that is not a computerized option. A smile and a handshake can't be beat.
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

Hi Dowhat, ebay does not allow the sale of coins from Cuba, so you're not missing out on a sale there.
These coins are virtually identical in size and weight to US quarters, with the same purity.
See the Numista listing - the values they list for a coin in this condition are about melt value for a silver Washington quarter.

P.S. PM sent
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
