Well it is warming up outside and is also getting more humid. What are good ways of storing coins in these humid conditions.

In what ways would humidity be bad for coins? I personally like my coins a bit toned, will humidity do that?

Most of mine are in ziplocks or air-tites. Desiccant didn't occur to me. Thanks for the idea. Was thinking of putting my Kennedys in plastic tubes sorted by year. Should they go into bags as well?

Either bags or a Tupper-ware type container (w/desiccant)

Humidity is bad in everyway for coins. It will cause corrosion, not toning.

Toning is normally the result of an oxidation reduction reaction and it does require water (humidity) to proceed.

Any one of the following silica dessicant products will help:

You can purchase them at many different coin stores!

Anyone try using the vacuum bags that pump all of the air out of the bag? I know ziplock makes an affordable hand held option that works pretty well for single usage. I guess the only problem would be getting to your coins :) Might be a good long term option though.
