Hi all,

I have what I suspect is a Takka coin from the Princely State of Jaipur but am having trouble finding the exact coin on Numista or Zeno.
Weight = 18.4g
Diam. = 19.5-20.1mm
Material = copper.
Have used angled lighting to try and highlight the details.
Thanks

Yes, I agree, in terms of weight, diameter, and general appearance this looks similar to a takka of Jaipur. There is a Jhar symbol on the first photo and a cross and dots on the second photo, all of which are similar to Jaipur takkas. However, I was unable to find a match with quick looks in Zeno or Krause. Here are a few Jaipur takkas from Zeno for comparison. Hopefully this can provide a starting point and another member will be able to make a fuller attribution.

Edit added later: In broadening the search on Zeno, I did see one Jaipur takka with a cross or star similar to your coin.
