so I was going through my coins with my magnifying loupe and noticed few things with this coin...yes it's a little beat up, so would I be if I was from 1946
At the back of his head is that debris? Cud error or just someone jacked it up good?

Also look at the date. The 46 in the date is pretty much gone. Doesn't look like it much in pictures as in person but I think this one is a printing error? His ear...Thoughts, questions, concerns?

if it's just wear and tear

It's had a rough life but it's looks like a strike through I can see the out line of Lincoln on the reverse of the coin

To me it looks like a small lamination on the back of Lincoln's head.

My Mother was born in 1942 and she is in Great shape - still goes hiking and camping and stuff.

anyway the thing behind Lincoln's head is not a Cud - Cuds are always at the rim. This could be a small lamination. The second half of the date is just a weak strike possibly due to grease in the die.
the rest? Well I think is just damage from circulation.
