Not enough hair or beard detail on the obverse for a proof coin.
No wear in the high points - uncirculated.

Other than in 1911 (Coronation) and 1927 (Silver Jubilee, silver coins only), very few UK George V proof coins were made. They were probably available only to senior Mint officials and were not made for sale to the publiv. Some do get onto the market, but the likelihood of finding one is pretty remote.

The rims of proof coins are normally very sharply defined. When handling them the edge feels almost as if you could cut yourself on them. This looks like a nice circulation strike to me.

I won't tell you which is the proof and which is the ordinary strike for obvious reasons and in the hand the proof will look so much better than in the picture.
