I was wondering what condition this Walking Liberty half dollar might be. At first I thought it was BU, but when I looked at the reverse, the eagle's chest feathers *(underneath the neck) are smoothed out. See the attached photos.

What grade (estimate) would you assign to this coin?

Pics too soft and dark to evaluate.

I can't see the surfaces through the glare and fuzzy focus.

it would be far better to remove the coin from the 2x2 then get better images of this. These are far too blurry. It is possible that your camera cannot focus on the coin due to the 2x2 covering.

Thanks Dearborn and to All. Dearborn - I took your advice. The attached photos are more clear. Any idea of the grade for this coin? The coin is bright & shiny.

the reason you are seeing the flatness on the higher devices, on both sides, that appear to be almost melted is due to the polishing.

Or just plain old wear that the polishing was intended to obscure.
