Malta To Issue Its Own Bullion Coin

The obverse will feature a majestic golden eagle fighting against a dangerous and vicious serpent symbolizing temptation. The reverse will feature the national coat of arms of Malta, placed on a wreath inspired by a painting on the ceiling of the Grand Master's Palace in Valletta. The whole is surrounded by olive and palm branches, a symbol of peace. St Paul shipwrecked there and was bitten by a snake on his way to Rome. Island of Melita, obverse Isis, reverse Osiris, 26mm, 2nd cent. Seems like everyone wants in on the high premium on silver bullion coins. I doubt I will get one unless the premium is reasonable (and I'm not sure what that is any longer!)
