Dcadon Pillar of the Community Canada 1360 Posts	Posted 05/11/2023 6:58 pm I received the CharlesIII Silver dollar today. Both sides apparently have an oily film as if somebody dragged a greasy thumb across it. Has anyone else had issues this year? - I'm returning mine. (ps - the shadow you see isn't lighting - its there at all angles and appears to be something smeared on the capsule or (possibly) the coin) Report this Post to the Staff

If you haven't already mailed the coin back, could you try another pic, especially after taking the coin out of the plastic container? I am still waiting for my dollar to be delivered (it's crossed the border so it shouldn't be more than another couple of days), so I can't comment yet on if your finding is a multiple problem or a one-shot "oopsie".
